Title: The Foster Care Council of Canada

Context:

The Foster Care Council of Canada is a non-profit organization of peole who have lived in foster care working together to improve the quality and accountability of child-welfare services and was established in 2001.

Need:

We conduct monthly Board meetings using Skype (like an MSN but allows multiple voice at a time) and needed a place to share the Agendas and Minutes while also making them available to the public.

We needed a central location to draft and store our documents so that we can get group feedback on each version from each other either as we go or after each version has been completed until finalized and moved into a (.doc) format for printing and distribution.

Also each Board member has their own hobbies or work/volunteer experience we would like to share with each other and with the community we serve.

Challenges:

We have experienced a learning curve challenge which, although minour, requires we spend a little time introducing our particular Wetpaint Wiki to the Board Members. We intend to create a custom video for that.
