The Fine Print - Big Blue Blues
Important information for you to understand

  1. This site is not an official site associated with any wiki hosting service or wiki software. It is neither sponsored nor endorsed by any wiki hosting service or wiki software vendor. It was created as an unofficial social networking site on the Web for individuals to share information, ideas, best practices, and case studies about using wikis and to ensure collaboration among users and organizers of wikis.
  2. Please note that this information about wiki hosting services and wiki engines (or software) is provided for your general use and it is recommended that you contact the respective companies to validate specific details about the price and functionality. The posting of this product or service on this wiki should not be considered a product or service recommendation. We encourage all users to validate information posted. However, it is likely that some mistakes will occur. If you see an error or missing information, post a comment on a page's discussion thread for our action or correct it yourself since it's a wiki. : )
  3. Remember the copyright law. If you use post something that you did not create (e.g., images, pictures), please give credit where credit is due. If you add any information to this site or reference any information from this site on another site, please include an appropriate attribution of its source.
  4. This site was created for information and entertainment purposes. Something you see on this site may at times amuse you, entertain you, inform you, inspire you, make you think, frustrate you, anger you, etc. Remember to be kind when visiting and contributing on this site.
  5. This site is being created by the people...for the people. Don't assume that the creator agrees to the views expressed on this site (e.g., within the text, comments, attachments, multimedia).
  6. Reference the Wetpaint Code of Conduct
  7. Although joining the community is highly advised for the full wiki experience, on this site you may anonymously post information and comments. You are not presently required to create a "username" and become a member of the Wild About Wikis community in order to contribute. However, the creator of this site reserves the right (and you are now notified) to change the access control on the site at its discretion without advance notification. For example, if the spam bots attack or we get unwelcome visitors who only come to post messages about the ringtones they wish to sell, links to their sites where 'naughty' pics can be displayed, how to get rich taking online surveys, etc. actions will be taken to block these individuals. If those actions fail, then access control changes may be considered. However, if member login becomes a requirement for posting data, visitor identity will still be protected and be private. Although when registering you must provide a valid id, you can prohibit the display of that e-mail id if you wish. No one in the community will know your e-mail address associated with your username, if you wish. Only the Wetpaint team would have access to that data and they have a privacy policy in place to protect your personal information. Therefore, visitors will only see the 'nickname' that you register. Review your account settings to use all options to protect your e-mail id from displaying if you choose. By registering, you can send messages to other registered members of the community, without sharing your personal e-mail id. Joining the community is easy and adds so much to the wiki experience. So, give it a chance!
  8. When posting information, please thoughtfully consider the site structure and add related information on the most appropriate page. Remember, it's a wiki -- don't be surprised if information you add is tweeked by another visitor or moved to a location where other similar information is posted.
  9. BTW, in this entrepreneural world, it's possible that you may have something you'd like to promote or pitch on this site. Please make sure it's specifically related to the content and purpose of this site and it is promoted within the context of the content on the selected page. Updates to the site content are being monitored. Content that the site organizer and administrators do not feel is within the scope of this site will be deleted.
  10. Have fun...share your feedback, ideas, hints, tips, advice, case studies, etc!
  11. Tell others about this site and encourage their participation. Tag or bookmark it. Blog about it! : )
  12. Don't be a stranger....come back soon...and come back often.
  13. If you post any information on this site, you are posting it into the public domain. The information you post may be referenced elsewhere. By posting your information on this site, you agree that your information (e.g., case study) may be a featured item on the site's associated blog or used by the wiki organizer. If you don't wish for this to happen, then contact the site creator or select another social networking site to share it, with our regrets.
  14. Use the WikiSandbox to test out Wetpaint features without creating your own site or ruining, um...editing someone else's! So, for those who want to have fun and just delete content for the heck of it , place crazy comments like "testing the toolbar" on a page, or creating blank pages with crazy titles, please go the sandbox and play to your heart's content.
  15. Keep it clean!
  16. home - Big Blue BluesI realize that frustration, anxiety, and anger often are demonstrated 'creatively' through language. However, let's keep it clean. Use creative spelling. : ) A little self-control through #$)&*Q@ and *s would be appreciated by many of our readers. We can fill-in-the-blanks and will get the message. ; ) Questionable language on site pages will be edited by the site organizer. Comments with questionable language may be deleted by the site organizer. Keep this a family friendly site and do not use questionable language!
